Meet Dr. Ergen
Dr. Ergen is from Decatur, Georgia. She received a bachelor of science degree from Brown University in 2007. She earned a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Tennessee in 2012. Her internship in internal medicine and residency in dermatology were at Vanderbilt University. After completing her residency in 2016, she was awarded a 2-year training grant in immunology from the National Institutes of Health working under Dr. Craig Elmets at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She moved to Knoxville in 2018, joining DAK and the faculty at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Ergen is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Dermatology Foundation.
Dr. Ergen is trained in the full specialty of dermatology with a focus on diseases of the immune system and skin cancer. She is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Dermatology at the University of Tennessee, Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville. She is involved in research, teaching and service.
She is married and resides in Knoxville with her husband and 3 children.
